Back to collectorsJohn Baldwin set out in 1969 to follow in the footsteps of Alfred Williams to discover tunes for the collection Folk Songs of the Upper Thames. A few of the collected songs were published in the Folk Music Journal, but apart from that, they have never been published. The recordings are held by the Leeds Archive of Vernacular Culture, where they can be heard by appointment.
