Bill Cooper of Witcombe sang Two Black Crows, The Old Sow, Seven Nights Drunk, The Ding Dong Song, a verse of The Scarlet and the Blue, Buttercup Joe, The Foggy De and, The Seaweed to Gwilym Davies in 1975 and 1976.

He was a friend of Reg Hannis of Cranham and they were regular singers at the Black Horse pub in Cranham. Bill Cooper’ tried to get tunes off George Millard – he didn’t have a tape recorder so made up parts of them’ according to Reg Hannis. He and his wife lived in Witcombe.
