Alex Innes sang Now I Am a Servant Girl, Down in the Fields Where the Buttercups All Grow and Sarie to Gwilym Davies in 1975 in Cheltenham.

Alex Innes lived in Cheltenham. He was possibly born in Cheltenham in 1938.  From at least 1963 to 1971 Alexander J. Innes was living at 60 Byron Road, Cheltenham with his daughter, Margaret (Meg) J. Innes. Previously in 1951 and 1952 a Mary J. Innes was living at this address with Sydney and Winifred Restall but it is not clear if she was a relation of Alex’s. Alex also had a wife, Carol, a son, Tyler, and another daughter, Sally Sarah.

Alex Innes died in Cheltenham Hospital on 30 August 2008 aged 70.
