Known to many as Mike Price, he has been active in the folk world for many years, particularly as a folk club organiser and member for many years of the City of Gloucester Mummers. He collected several local songs which he published in a booklet “A Gloucestershire Collection”. He is currently the Town Crier of Tewkesbury.
