In this edition we ask Gwilym and Carol Davies about the origins of the GlosTrad and the process of making an online archive.

Gwilym Davies has been a song collector in the Gloucestershire for four decades, but the project required him to reach out to collectors and collections further afield.

Carol’s roles included project management for to fulfill the Heritage Lottery Funds requirements as well as the task of researching the source singers.

There story is illustrated by favourite sound recordings from the GlosTrad archive.
