Most South Midlands morris dancing traditions include a version of Shepherd’s Hey with little variation in the tune. It is often used for a clapping dance, as in this case.

Shepherd’s Hey has been arranged by classical musicians, most famously by Percy Grainger. Some people seem to attribute the tune (as well as Country Gardens) to Grainger himself.
