Bill Pullen is a well-known and active singer in the North Gloucestershire/south Worcestershire area. He hails from Gretton and now lives in nearby Alderton. As well as singing traditional songs, he is a skilful song writer and also a singer/harmonica player of blues. He is proud of the fact that he has twice won the Bill Bailey folk award twice at the Chipping Norton Music Festival as well as the best song performance. He was a runner-up in the national harmonica league senior award (blues) in 1997.
Most evenings of the week will find Bill at a local music venue, singing and playing, either solo or with other local artists. In between times, he runs a fortnightly programme for Radio Winchcombe, featuring folk, blues, roots and world music
