Potter, F. Scarlett

Frederick Scarlett Potter was born in Lark Stoke, Gloucestershire in 1835, a parish of Ilmington, Warwickshire and died in Warwickshire in 1915.  His family was mainly from the Gloucestershire/Warwickshire border and his father was a farmer.  Throughout the 19th century censuses, he is listed as a sculptor.  He may be the same F Scarlett Potter who wrote several children’s books.
