Cecil Sharp visited Mr Such in Cheltenham in 13 August 1921 when he sang the street cry Young Lambs. Sharp stated that Mr Such was the proprietor of one of the numerous boarding houses in Cheltenham. Born in London he constantly in his youth heard this cry sung in the streets. He may have learned this in London or Cheltenham
