The Vogwells, talk about their experience as Glostrad Ambassadors, exploring the GlosTrad archives.  The combination of Emma’s clear voice and Martin’s intricate and innovative guitar style have proven an excellent vehicle.  We hear their story and they sing us some of the songs they learned in the process.

Charles Monteith has a long experience working on Gloucestershire folk tunes.  Together with Paul Burgess he set out a large collection of them in the tune book Coleford Jig.  He brought this experience with him when he joined Gloucestershire Traditions as a trustee.   Here he describes the challenges of transcribing the tunes recorded from fiddler Stephen Baldwin.
